DA site:

  1. Any particular genre, page format, or file size requirements? Are collaborative efforts allowed (granted that we'd be willing to split the prize money)? I might take a crack at this. I need an excuse to stop slacking and do more comics. Despite being a full-time ESL teacher in Korea, my true calling is a comicker. :)

I have a few fun ideas floating around in my head. Let's see what I can come up with.

  2. Well, the pages would need to be print ready. 10x15 at at least 300dpi. You can do any genre you like and collabs are fine but that is on the creative team, and not us.

What part of Korea are you in? I lived in Seoul for over a year.

If you have anymore questions please feel free to ask.

  3. I'm in Anyang, just south of Seoul. :) Did you teach here, too, or were you in some other business?

Thanks for the info! I'm making a short list of ideas and bouncing them off of some comic friends. I might do this one all on my own-- a collab would be nice, but my creative partners are on the other side of the planet, which makes sending physical pages a bit time-consuming, and this is a tight deadline (for rusty ol' me, anyway).

    Thanks again!

  4. I was in the Army.

Can't wait to see what you do. If you have anymore questions please feel free to ask.
